Based on the novel by Robert Cormier, The Bumblebee Flies Anyway was a brilliant movie. I recommend reading the book first, as the movie can easily confuse you. In this film, Elijah Wood plays "Barney Snow", a teenager who cannot remember his past. He is put into a medical facility where experiments are done on terminally ill patients. These "experiments" have caused Barney to be suspicious of who he really is, and when he tries to remember the past, he can only remember a horrible nightmare. Barney makes friends quite fast, but soon realizes they won't live long. They have dreams that won't ever come true, and his heart wants to do something about that. He meets "Cassie", portrayed by Rachael Leigh Cook, and falls in love. This movie shows how somebody with so little can change so much. Elijah does an outrageous job!!
